As most of you may know by now, Columbia CabinetWorks is proud to be a part of the Parade of Homes. This year we teamed up with Witt Construction to design a stunning home in Saratoga Springs.

When we began this project, Amy was thrilled to work alongside Witt Construction to design the cabinetry for the home’s kitchen. After the initial meet, she began to think about how the space could look and work. The kitchen’s cabinets were crafted with Edgemont Recessed doors in maple with an antique white finish; a perfect selection for the kitchen’s traditional/coastal design. For countertop, we used a more modern grey soapstone. These days it’s a popular trend to mix and match finishes. Therefore, the island was completed in a black espresso glaze finish with maple Edgemont Raised cabinetry.

Designing the right look didn’t end there as the details truly made a difference. Along the refrigerator wall, the shelf area has lowered seeded mullion glass cabinets and a valance. This created an airy, open look within the space. Amy also worked with John Witt who matched the bead board accents and corbels throughout the kitchen.

If you haven’t had a chance to explore this kitchen and the amazing home it’s within, be sure to come out this weekend to the Parade of Homes. The home is located on 51 Granger Avenue in Saratoga Springs. While you’re out, stop by the second home we were thrilled to work on in Wyantskill at the Retreat on Pond Hill, 38 Indian Pipe Drive.
