Don’t Miss Columbia CabinetWorks at the 2013 Saratoga Showcase of Homes

Oak Street

As most of you know, we are excited to be a part of this year’s Saratoga Showcase of Homes. Working alongside Witt Construction, we were honored to design the kitchen cabinetry for the home on 96 Oak Street.

The home is simply stunning, especially the mixed styles of cabinetry in the kitchen. With 9 foot ceilings, special height cabinet panels were designed to be 45″ in height. The maple cabinetry from Brookhaven was installed along the perimeter of the space and finished in lace with Fremont Recessed doors. To mix and match different styles and finishes, the island and hutch had knotty cherry cabinets installed. With Fremont Raised doors and matte bistro finish, the look certainly pulls the kitchen together. The finishing touch included the oil rubbed bronze bin pulls and knobs. Barraco Soapstone tops off the kitchen and island cabinets and a 3cm thick sheet of Bianco Carrera Marble tops off the hutch..

Of course details make a difference in any room. Our design team included split panel doors with glass walls along the range wall. To bring simplicity to the kitchen, a popular trend is to hide larger appliances beneath panels. Therefore, an integrated built-in refrigerator had matching custom panels installed. For the hutch, mullion glass doors and bead board accents with matching wood knobs and corbels were added.

Don’t forget that the Saratoga Showcase of Homes takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am – 5pm on September 21st–22nd, September 28th-29th & October 5th-6th. Be sure to buy your tickets and visit the home on 96 Oak Street!
