What a day it has been! Let me just start out by saying how happy and trilled we are to have won the 2013 Parade of Homes Pinnacle Homes – Best Kitchen Award!

Last night, we heard the wonderful news about the kitchen we worked on with Witt Construction at 51 Granger Avenue in Saratoga Springs. Congratulations Amy for designing this award winning kitchen that is simply stunning!

As most of you may recall, Pantone chooses a color that will represent each year. Last year Tangerine Tango, a spirited reddish orange, provided the energy boost we needed to recharge and move forward. In 2013, enhance your sense of well-being by inspiring insight as well as promoting balance and harmony. Emerald, a vivid verdant green, is the official color for the new year.

With the Great Northeast Home Show just one week away, we’re excited to announce that our very own chief cabinet officer, Evan Levey, will be presenting a seminar on kitchen renovations Saturday, February 11th at 12 PM. Evan will be discussing how to outline components of a kitchen renovation from timeline to budget, from environmental concerns to functionality. Attendees will gain an understanding on how the priority of these components play into critical decisions a homeowner needs to make throughout the renovation process.

Each year, thousands of homeowners come to browse through products and services for their home. It’s that time of year again and the Saratoga Builders Association is bringing you the 16th annual Showcase of Homes! Starting September 17th, the Saratoga Builders Association shows off the area’s finest homes built by contractors and designers within the Capital Region. For the next three weekends, you can tour beautiful homes and explore the latest designs in high-quality furnishings and fixtures, as well as the latest building techniques and products. This year, the event will showcase 19 new homes throughout the Saratoga area, including the towns of Greenfield Center, Malta, Moreau, Ballston Spa, Halfmoon and Wilton. I’m super excited for this year’s Saratoga Showcase of Homes to see the area’s design talent, and because I will be one of the judges!

Tickets for all 6 days are only $20 per person, and free for children under 12. Also, the proceeds from the 2011 Showcase of Homes event will support Rebuilding Together Saratoga and Habitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties.
